Chatiquette (シャティケット) is a code of behavior that delineates expectations for social behavior according to contemporary conventional norms within a society, social class, or group - on the Internets. That means the way you are supposed to act without upsetting others around you!

If you always found your partner to be particularly difficult to have around when meeting up with friends and family, this one is for you:

  1. Completely censor everything you don't want him or her to say!
  2. Set your boyfriend under high voltage each time he forgets to call you 'my Goddess'!
  3. Shame your partner by playing obnoxious noises each time she said something you didn't approve of.

All automatically.

Before you can turn the app ON, you will have to either censor your partner or obligate them to say a phrase each time they speak.

Select the Censor button in your Chatiquette menu, go to Add Words and enter words in the Submit Box. Add multiple words with line-breaks!

Once you have a bunch, click Submit.

If you want, you can also select Obligate and choose a meaningful phrase. Your partner will have to say this phrase each time they speak. This can simply be “Sir” or “Miss” but it can also be something more elaborate.

In this sample, Chatiquette is already turned on. The wearer of the collar is censored from speaking pesky and rude words, such as “no” and is obligated to say “Queen Wendy of Wendyland” in each sentence.

In this case, it would be permissible to say:

“I am excited to be your human pony, Queen Wendy of Wendyland!”

Forbidden to say would be, for example:

“No, I don't want to be a human pony for you, Wendy :((”

What happens will entirely depend on which Mode had been selected. Click the Mode button! The classic Mode would be “Discipline”. The wearer of the collar will be placed into an animation for a set duration and optionally plays a noise each time the Chatiquette isn't obeyed.

To set animation, duration, the pose, the noise etc.. simply open the Setup menu where everything can easily be selected.

Tip: Choosing animation and sound combos that fit together well with timing has a more intense effect! Just like the “Default” electric jolt.

The arguably more strict Mode is called “Muzzle”. In this Mode all chat will be pre-monitored by the App and then parsed as “green text” if all Chatiquette has been obeyed. If not, the spoken words will not appear at all in the Nearby Chat and others would only notice the noise that has been chosen in the Setup menu. This can be a censor beep but it can also be a jolt, vinyl scratching, a cute gasp and many more.

Tip: Cricket noises are especially well suited for paragraph roleplayers who just wrote a wall of text but ignored their Chatiquette rules!

In “Discipline” Mode the duration for disciplinary action can be set to up to 10 minutes if not longer (when manually done so via command line).

That is great!

It means you can effectively “beautystand” your partner into the corner. The Penance is a way to redeem themselves so the pose can be stopped.

The default penance is “I didn't do it!” and can be set in Setup. Once this had been said, the wearer redeemed herself and the disciplinary action will end. There is still plenty of creative freedom in this seemingly hardcore censorship App. You can drop more sounds into the root prim of your collar and if you want, you can also use the [prefix] show animator command to show the animation storage of the collar, select this one with edited linked and add more animations that you want to be able to select in the Chatiquette Setup.

Anything we should add here? Let us know! For now, we wish you and your partner lots of fun with your new App!
